from dear old Sol to Jupiter. Our solar system is very tiny in the grand scheme of things, but this clever video shows us, even at the speed of light, just how immense our back yard is... http://io9.com/fly-through-the-solar-system-at-the-speed-of-light-with-1719959476 Stu.

Makes you wonder how fast we need to travel to start exploring. Speed of light is just too slow.

What we need is an Einstein-Rosen bridge, a worm hole through spacetime a bit like TVs Stargate. :)

Hi All, There is already this guy theoretical physicist, Miguel Alcubierre Moya who has theorised about FTL by forming a bubble around the space ship, shrinking space in front of this bubble then expanding space behind thus you would in theory have Warp drive. Watched him in a documentary with Discovery Channel's Michio Kaku excellent to watch. See video below.....:eagerness:
Wiki has this about FTL :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faster-than-light https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_Alcubierre Other info. http://dcmusgrove.blogspot.co.uk/2010/12/michio-kaku-discusses-faster-than-light.html Geoff.
