Had a lovely day in Wales last weekend visiting The Brecon Mountain Railway. Had a trip on the No.2 Baldwin Locomotive which was built in Philadelphia in 1930. It's like a mini wild west engine with the big light and a caboose! It is kept in beautiful condition by the team there. It's a 90 minute return journey through the Welsh countryside and alongside a lake. They have quite a few engines so different ones work other days and there is a Steam Museum at one of the stations too. A very nice day out and well worth visiting :) http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%205_zpsc2brzmow.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%206_zps2xq7xqi7.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%2011_zps8hngkczp.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%2029_zpslgelqhbe.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%2042_zpsh0nmci7c.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%2050_zpsgpce0o9t.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%2044_zpsvkwx9arh.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/mmx16/Welsh%20Railways/Brecon%20Mountain%2052_zps5w7quupb.jpg

Lovely pictures! Welshpool born and bred me, so a soft spot for all the 'Great Little Trains'. Thanks for sharing.
