Very sad. Modeldecal fired my modelling enthusiasm for many years.

I regret to be the bearer of sad news to announce that Richard (Dick) Ward died early yesterday morning (Sunday 12th Nov) after a short illness.
Dick was the force behind Modeldecal designing a huge range of decals for the 1/72 Military Aviation Enthusiast. He published several modeller's reference books and many photographs over the years in publications worldwide.
A good friend since I first met him in 1965 at RNAS Yeovilton, where he was displaying the huge " History of Air Power" model collection together with Alan Hall and Dave Cook.
RIP my friend.
