A bit of photography in the garden

When I should really be packing for my holiday tomorrow, I couldn't resist having a little play around with the camera in the garden.

Nothing amazing, just a few different perspectives...

1) Even a leaf looks complex through the lens..
2) The leaf was about 1.5 inches long, for an idea at how small the beetle was (just a black speck to the normal eye)
3) Ugh...this was actually a centipede curled up.
4) Just thought this looked quite good, with the near branches in minute detail and the other branches blurring off into the distance.
5) Close-up on a thistle leaf. Can see the spikes clearly, and the white 'stuff' that I guess is used to stick onto insects.

I posted this one a couple of months back, but incase you hadn't seen it...this wasn't much bigger than a small money spider.

Nice of you to explore nature, thats a luxery you have, i bet in your area when your sunbathing you don't get next door singing in the shower, or coughing his guts up.

I still agree with the others too much time on your hands.
