Hi All,

I just hope the pilot makes a full recovery that is the main thing,  Just a sad thing to happen when it had been recently restored and flown by or for it's new owner especially after all this C19 malarkey.

As for the aircraft another restoration beckons after any investigation is completed,  looking at the aircraft it looks like it would be possible.

Hi,

From facebook Tina Fly GmbH.

"

Probably most of you have already heard that "our" beautiful Grumman Wildcat did not quite make it back to the airfield after a successful air-to-air photo shoot.

First things first - the pilot is fine! After a short stay for observation he could already leave the hospital again.

His controlled and, from our point of view, perfectly executed emergency landing resulted in the least possible damage to the aircraft and the environment. As soon as the BFU has finished its investigation, we will return the Wildcat to perfect condition as soon as possible. We will keep you informed!

By the way, the photo shoot with Philipp Prinzing was fantastic (the photo speaks for itself) and you can look forward to many more amazing shots.🤩

Finally, a huge thank you for the countless requests about the pilot and the aircraft, we are overwhelmed by your sympathy!❤️"
