No, I think she's just been moved over there to fly on the US circuit for a while before coming back. Not sure about timescales...

I think that she has been sold to an owner in Florida, but i believe that part of the deal was that she would come back to the UK at a later date for one flying season.
Please corect me if thats wrong anyone.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-02-02 AT 08:05 AM (GMT)]I understood that one of the owners Tony Smith has a property in Florida and has taken the Spit over there to operate it for a while. He also has one of his Bucker Jungmeister over there as well. Interstingly the Real Aeroplane Company website mentions that Tony Smith will be displaying a Mustang in the UK this summer, but no mention as to which one, anyone know?

its just an earlier post mentioned it had been sold. I know they are planning on displaying several planes in the USA, odd they are leaving the Hurricane behind!

Is it true the Pink Spits been sold, if so who? I guess an American?
