Can someone offer any info. on the following :

Loss of Hamdon VN Z, 50 Sqdr, out of Skellinthorpe, 15 Dec 1941,
Crew of Sgts. Young,White,Armer,and Ferguss.

Relatives would like to know any operational info. and loss whereabouts of A/c and crew.

Know someone out there can help...please.

Airborne 1757 15Dec41 from Skellingthorpe. Presumed crashed in the sea off the Belgian coast. Sgt Young is buried in Ostend New Communal Cemetery; his crew have no known graves and are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. The target was Ostend.

They were the only loss from 25 aircraft despatched.
