These pictures are from the Royal Aeronautical Society's Garden Party at White Waltham June 15th 1952. Notable are the debut of the recently restored Gladiator, plus displays from Pioneer, Beaver, Storch and BEA Bell 47.
Try not to reflect on the dozens of war-weary Fireflies in the background.

G-AMRK Gloster Gladiator 1. This aircraft was rescued by Viv Bellamy from Ground Instruction duties and restored to flying condition. Only registered 16-5-52, this was probably its airshow debut. Glosters purchased it in 1953, then donated it to The Shuttleworth Collection in 1960:

Excellent pictures yet again! First time I have seen pics of the Storch in RAE markings.
Interesting to see all those Firefly Mk.7s in the background in the last but one shot.

The wheels on the Storch (which it retains) are I believe Spitfire.
