Hi all, is there anyone down at North Weald to add piccys here to be like the DUXFORD DIARY which is very informative and interesting.
Maybe my nudge will bring some shots in, I have heard Red Gnat out and about on the scanner a little while ago.
just a thought .

What a great thread, and some lovely pictures. It just reminded me, this year is the 30th anniversary of the first North Weald Fighter Meet. Oh happy days!

The Squadron at North Weald Airfield (EGSX) will be holding a Spring Fly-in on April 27th 2014.

All Aircraft types are welcome.

Although there are no Landing Fee's our chosen Charity for 2014 is Aerobility. If you wish to make a donation they will be greatly received.

An added spectacle should be a 3 ship formation of Gnat's flying several times during the day.

Airfield opens 08:30 (L) Closes 19:00 (L) Last departures 18:50 (L)

PPR required on 01992 524510 (The Squadron) or 01992 524740 (Tower)

Thank you YAKRIDER, great shots, I am really looking forward to seeing more, I have not been over to weald in a dogs age!
30 years since the first Fighter Meet? I think I attended all of them bar one, be great to reinstate something on a similar lines but I do know expense prohibits such.
Keep up the great work at NW.

I too am greatly in favour of this thread. Great idea! Perhaps this would be a nice oppourtunity for people to upload pictures from Fighter Meets throughout the years too? I know they have been covered in other corners of the internet but it would be nice to have one solid thread to archive them all.

Looking forward to seeing this progress.

Cracking shots I have not seen before from BoB film at Weald, rather than post the pics without permission, you can all take a look.

Thirded! And brilliant to see three very distinctive Gnats flying together. Just hope airshow organisers open their eyes (and wallets) this year and book them!
