-300 = Mk 1 part (although could have been used on later mark(s))
27 = Fuselage part.
77 = Item number.
The rest of the numbers are unlikely to refer to the part number. Could be tool, forging / casting etc numbers.

Just been checking through the Spitfire drawings to identify a piece of spitfire. At one end is attached this casting.
I think it is the rear Longeron fixing at Frame 19 - based upon the rivet number and positions.
The numbers on it are 30027 then 11 or 77 then 8 or 88 or 83 then 10.
Can anyone confirm or re-assign ?
