-Looks too short to be a helicopter cyclic stick. But then again, I'm no expert on some UK type, but it doesn't look like a Whirlwind, Wessex or other Sikorsky design.

Can anyone help with identification of this item.
There are some numbers cast into the column and not stamped although they are difficult to read.
Possibly SW Z5Z or 252 ?
The bottom fitting looks like a helicopter type mount ?
Any ideas as I haven't got a clue.
For some reason the pictures have appeared upside down ( just to make things more difficult)
