The Skymaster thread now has over 1200 "likes" and people following it. Any chance the link could make it onto your list at the top of the page? This will be the last C54 flying in Europe and though her history is in connected to the Pacific she will be used to educate people about the role transport planes play in the war efforts of WW2, Korea and Vietnam as well as the major part they played in the Berlin Airlift. We have made a fair bit of progress since launching the project in April. The aircraft has now been donated to the society and we have attended a couple of airshows and had the aircraft open for visitors with some success getting the word out with what we hope to achieve. We have had a formal invitation to attend the commemorative events in Germany and Berlin during June 2019 so we are under pressure to start work getting the aircraft airworthy (ideally by the end of 2018) We have launched a supporters club, for £25 you get a nice lapel badge, a car sticker, privileged access to the aircraft and team and a quarterly news letter. I am connected to the project having carried out the initial assessment of the airframe, persuaded the rest of the team the project is viable and am now writing a restoration and servicing plan. https://www.facebook.com/savetheskymaster/
