Right:
You have £500,000 to spend.
You have hangarage.
You have a strip to operate from.
You are current on just about anything.
However, your half a million has to cover the aircraft aquisition and associated costs. It has to cover your insurance, fuel and maintenance for two years.
Therefore to be able to continue you need to get work or airshow bookings for the aircraft.
What are you going to buy that is in this price range and interesting enough to get bookings?

LAST EDITED ON 16-10-01 AT 10:56 PM (GMT)[p]This is too easy, it has to be a YAK11, a very under rated but extremely agile machine, with a superb sound, and great fun. I can even think of the very aeroplane, superbly restored to zero hour stock configuration with only test hours since. Now where was that £500k?
The only downside is that airshow organisers don't appreciate the performance that the YAK11 can put on, but with the spare money some could be invested in a marketing strategy for the aircraft as a display item.
