How Low Can You Go (2018 and onwards)

I have just learned this today myself but I'm not sure if No.1 (B) OTU has anything to do with RNZAF's No.10 (OT) squadron, as mentioned by Chris in his post. Do you know, by any chance?

There is a '43' just about visible on the tail of the Ventura in the photograph, which would make the serial number NZ4543

My understanding is that 10 Sqn, RNZAF later became 1(B)OTU but retained the ZX squadron code. The Venturas (as in the original photo) came along after the unit became 1(B)OTU

I can't imagine that this clip has not been posted before but, in case not, here's a BA VC-10 (G-ARVM) making a low pass at the White Waltham air show in 1977.

The relevant part is at [approximately] 2.45 to 3.00............ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XlSaJGtF5g

Here's a still:

Not as low as in some other photos here but this Mustang was called "Daisy Cutter" in the caption and, being published in early 1944, this was not a display for the public but possibly preparation for the 'real thing'.

Another 'Daisy Cutter'. While the photograph doesn't really show it, the caption says that this Sandingham was flying at a height of 20 feet above ground level. It's at Farnboriugh on 27 June 1946.

A glider pilot makes a fast, low run to the airport only to have a near miss with a low flying Black Hawk helicopter. Only the first 20 seconds of this video is low level. I recommend watching in full screen to get the 3D perspective view effect.
