RE: Dakota crash
The Dakota C3 was KG397 of 435 Sqn RCAF. It hit high ground at Beech Farm, 2 Miles South West of Warlington Surrey, on approach to Croydon 8 killed on 13th Feb 1946

On 13th February 1946 a Dakota of 435 Sqdn crashed near Orpington, Kent. I'll be most grateful for any hints as to the serial number of this aircraft. If you can supply any additional details concerning this accident, I'll be absolutely delighted. Thanks in advance for your help.
