War graves of commonwealth nationals are well documented through the war graves commission. Does anyone know how the fallen of other nationalities (eg Norwegian,Dutch etc) who flew with the RAF in WW2 are recorded? Andy P

RE: Foreign Nationals War Graves Many of them (all?) are also on the CWGC - certainly tyhe Belgians who died flying with 609 (West Riding) Squadron are, example: Debt of Honour Register In Memory of JEAN HENRI MARIE OFFENBERG Flight Lieutenant 82517 609 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died on Thursday 22 January 1942 . Additional Information: Repatriated to Belgium (formerly buried in Scopwick Church Burial Ground, UK). Cemetery: REPATRIATION REGISTERCivilian War Dead Location: The casualties listed here were all repatriated to their home countries and are commemorated solely by this register entry.
