Does anyone know the whereabouts of the preserved nose section of the ex-BOAC Comet 1A G-ANAV? I read it was kept in the Science Museum in London, but on two recent visits it has not been there, instead there is a DC3 nose, no mention of what happened to the Comet.

The Comet you refer to is stored down at Wroughton airfield with the Science Museum reserve collection. They have infrequent open days where the collection can be viewed. For more information consult on of the museum guides or Wrecks&Relics.
