I was just thinking how little is being shown about what's going on at Duxford. I know their is a little report every now and then but i remember when for at least a week before the show there were scores of photo's being posted not only here but on the Duxford Times website. I know it's now flyvintage but it just ain't as good as Duxford Times.

Enough of my ranting, i'll be there tomorrow pm and on sunday. I just hope the rain clears. And i don't care if there are going to be a few missing either! :p

Well I can tell you yesterday the F86 did two practice displays, the Hurricane was doing engine tests, the P39 was as per photo on another thread and Princess Elizabeth was being polished by Stephen Grey and having its markings applied, its prop was also moved into postion for fitting. All this is of course know well out of date considering how fast things change at Duxford this week.

Just read on flyvintage that the P-39 has flown and there has been another arrival that looks like it could be a Polikarpov I-15.

:D at Yak11 Fan...I had heard that the P-39 had flown, but had not seen it with my own eyes, so was reluctant to say anything here until there was something more solid to go on ;)
