Has the Norwegian Dakota gone yet? They were due to leave early on thursday mornings but the new engines weren't playing ball at all! I was on a photography workshop there and it tried 2 or 3 times to go and failed every time. The first time it managed to produce a spectacular amount of flame out of the exhausts after a rather dramatic popping and banging sound
'Nellie B' returned yesterday afternoon, she should be flying at Clacton on Thursday and Friday, then Little Gransden on Sunday.
Today also saw the return of the DH.9 from an extended stay at Old Warden:
The Blenheim was active this afternoon:
Last month, Classic Wings lost their Ground Ops Manager Pete Ward. His funeral today was marked by a flypast by many of the aircraft in his care. Among them Tiger Moth G-ARAZ is now marked in remembrance.
Is that the owner of the 504 flying her? I believe it's his Wildcat that arco are finishing off at the moment.....I got told it looks magnificent and "nothing like we've seen before"

The usual boring rubbish from Duxford, then.
Just kidding - that shot of the Ultimate Fighters in post #500 is stunning, thank you to the DX regulars for their efforts keeping us up to date.

Nice to see the Ultimate Fighters return from Biggin Hill where they were my personal highlight. I’m assuming ‘Nellie B’ returned to Sywell ?
