It's really obvious with a kiwi!
More subtly (although the Union Flag was more so), the fin flashes on the fighters shown in this thread have the red portion on the leading edge.
You occasionally see idiots ranting about US Army troops having the flags on their right shoulders backwards, and therefore they are anti-christs or something.

Trident going into AirSpace on Feb 10th for a repaint too...airliners this year will be possibly looking better than they ever have done. Only the 10 really needs some paintwork but resources are finite.

If you read the accounts, you get an idea of how hard DAS work. They raise hundreds of thousands for the museum. They bring in valuable revenue in all kinds of ways, including five figure sums for film companies, using the airliners. I was amazed at just how much they raise.

Are the airliner repaints being sponsored by British Airways ? They are planning a lot of PR regarding their 100th Anniversary. Including painting B747 and A319 in BOAC and BEA schemes.

Re flags the wrong way round......
You often see WWII US re-enacters - say in a jeep with a modern 50-star US flag in place of a more correct 48-star wartime one.
They go to great lengths to get things as accurate as possible - and then forget about the flag!

I was talking to my Dad tonight about the B-24 Lady be Good and he said they have some bits from it at Duxford. Is that correct?

Is Monday generally a 'good' day to pop to Duxford if you hope to catch some flying? :)

Is Berlin Express still around? Never noticed her on my last visit in November. Only saw Hun Hunter in TFC hangar.
