The last few days have seen a couple of Pitts Specials have been seen around and a Gazelle helicopter was in High Wycombe high street on a recruitment drive on Friday

the growly sound of a Pratt & Whitney radial just dispersing the sounds of the crows and Buzzards and the lovely sight of a Stearman doing turns over the A12 Boreham/ Hatfield Peverel Essex and now departed west back to North Weald I am guessing

Interesting to see several of the B-52s currently at Fairford out and about over the North Sea on ADSB today. Wish they'd fly over Croydon... Also noticed an Israeli AF 707 over the Eastern Med early this morning
Westland Scout, currently out and about enjoying the cloudless sunshine to the south and east of Colchester. Part of the soundtrack of my youth when the AAC had some based at the towns barracks.

Probably the aeroplane I've commented on most here, but always good to see it's porcine shape in the air - Short Skyvan over North Oxford. Not sure which one as it was silhouetted against a dusk sky.
How the flip does the Super Guppy fly without giving the laws of physics (Jim) conniptions?
Rumor is it's here for a month for maintenance...It taxied over to the shed they keep the DC 9 & SOFIA in.

I remember the first time I saw one, perhaps 15000' heading west, Dover, Biggin, Woodley and I suspect into Filton from Hamburg. 1976, the early days of A300 production, not sure who built what and where... Lovely looking aeroplane. Also saw an ANG KC-97 heading east along the same route around then... them was the days...
