As much as many folk complain that Kermit doesn't fly everything - I've been guilty of saying this too - Orlampa seems to be a much more comfortable and appropriate home for the I-16 and it stands a better chance of flying again. A nice video and great bit of news.

Also, was anyone else shouting at the screen that they were engine logs before Randy pointed out "ASh-62R" on the front cover in Russian? Or just me? :D

Sometimes the comments on u tube are just daft or garbage...in this case there are some great additions to the story of the I --16 which deserve retelling in the mag., such as downing 109s in the Spanish Civil War.

Or the stick on label in English that read Engine Logbook?...
