Just read the Tony Ditheridge interview article in the May issue of Aeroplane; so what is it precisely that CAA and the Design Authority are demanding that have driven 30% increase in restoration time for a Hurricane and is this increase across the board for other CAA warbirds? Also who is the design authority for the Hurricane, Im suprised it is not Hawker Restorations themselves? As a side note do the CAA allow DA's to also restore the aircraft types they are responsible for, or is there a need for there to be separate business entities with different employees?
