Hello,

In the #103 issue of Wydawnictwo "Militaria" (Warsaw, 2000), the following profile of a Peruvian Curtiss P-36G has been published:

Unfortunately, this profile is not substantiated by any photographic evidence. The only photograph of a Peruvian P-36 I've ever seen wears the standard roundel, not this "big central dot" one.

Can anybody substantiate this profile with photographic evidence? Has any body seen any Peruvian military aircraft with this roundel? Or is this only an artist view with no historical substance whatsoever?

Thanks by advance for any information.

PEB
