-The unusual thing about these clips is the "tail" on the rectangular loop end. All 6 clips are embossed with the letter K on one side of the tail. The embossings on the other side of the tail are mostly illegible but legible examples are 120C, 120E and 120L. Each clip weighs approximately 400 grams. Does that help anyone?

-I understood these to be the parachute pack clips from an Observer type chest harness. The 'tail' ensuring that the clip remained in line with the harness strap and not 'flopping' about.

-I had one years ago,it had been in a fire [steel was colourised}my mum had been given it and said it came from a parachute.

These clips were thought to be used by paratroopers for attaching a static line but they seem to be too big and too heavy for this purpose. They appear to be stainless steel. A previous owner was a flight engineer on Sandringham flying boats in the fifties so I'm wondering if they might have had a nautical application. Does anyone recognise them?
