during this show, i can meet Raymond Lallemant famous Belgium pilote squadron leader of the 609th of the RAF during the D-Day

about '' Cheval '' Lallemant,he was member of 198 sqn at the time of D Day,he became sqn leader of 609 later in 1944.Aniway,beautiful pic's

What rank was Raymond Lallemant wearing on the uniform. It looks like Air Chief Marshall, or even Marshall of the RAF, but surely he cannot still be in the air force now, is he?

in fact it's his uniform of Colonel,Belgian air force. I phone him today and he was very pleased to know that he was so high in RAF's hierarchy . And I'll send to him this lovely picture .

Franck, may I ask what size lens you used to obtain these stunning & breathtaking pictures?
I have been to Falaise several times but never when the airshow has been on. It's a beautiful city and I love wandering about the place.
