WOW....outstanding photography......where did the Spit come from...Old Machine Flying Company? Great head one shots ! Thanks ! Falaise...a name we here in the USA know from our D-Day History.....very historic countryside indeed !

during this show, i can meet Raymond Lallemant famous Belgium pilote squadron leader of the 609th of the RAF during the D-Day

hello Franck,
about '' Cheval '' Lallemant,he was member of 198 sqn at the time of D Day,he became sqn leader of 609 later in 1944.Aniway,beautiful pic's

Wow, gorgeous photography Franck. Some breath taking shots.

What rank was Raymond Lallemant wearing on the uniform. It looks like Air Chief Marshall, or even Marshall of the RAF, but surely he cannot still be in the air force now, is he?

He is wearing his belgian uniform and not his british one Dave. And yes, he is retired.

Hello,
in fact it's his uniform of Colonel,Belgian air force. I phone him today and he was very pleased to know that he was so high in RAF's hierarchy . And I'll send to him this lovely picture .

Franck, may I ask what size lens you used to obtain these stunning & breathtaking pictures?

I have been to Falaise several times but never when the airshow has been on. It's a beautiful city and I love wandering about the place.

I use a Canon 100-400mm LIUSM lense with an EOS D60 for this show. Now I'm using an EOS 20D
