Thank you young man (and I say young in a manner that is truly insulting - you expected nothing less!) I don't think I am going to be there. The Rearwin is currently in the middle of a 25 hour check. Apparently all this flying I have been doing has to be paid for! I also have brakes to fix. I was hoping that I could blag a ride in the Staggerwing but that is in bits too.

I am planning a DRIVE to this event from Scotland, but it's very weather dependent, and not looking good as I type. I've seen the pics from previous events, and been yearning to go for years, but it's a long way for a soaking,if you see what I mean. Plus,if weather bad, there won't be any aircraft! Anyone know what to expect from Europe,if any?

Vintage stuff is not really my bag - but I live about 5 miles from Hullavington and used to work there - so I will visit. Is there such a thing as a participants list, or can someone tell me what to expect ?? Or an I being naive ?? Ken

You have to be a realist if you're planning a 900 mile round trip by road! Of course,if someone is flying from Scotland, and looking for a paying pax, then I'm your man!

I'll be there! We are planning to have the Dove, Prentice, Pembroke, Twin Pin, Dak, Anson and Rapide in attendance so feel free to pop over, have a nose around and say hello! Tom.
