Yeah, I read about a B-17 that came down in a lake near, I think Alresford near Winchester. I was in Wetherspoons pub in Winchester and they had a 'guest beer' in honour of said B-17. This was a few months back around March time I think, but I'll endeavour to pull up the info and get it to you.

Thanx Rich.....I am hoping that the stuff is from this aircraft as it has a fantastic history as did the crew.

I know that some B17 stuff was found in a pond near Thorpe Abbotts, but I have acquired some stuff from a pond in Hampshire or down south. Anyone know anything or heard about it please?!
