-Norman Franks' book "Battle of the Airfields" is probably the most well-known on the subject (the 50th anniversary edition is the best version to have). I gather there has been more recent publishing on the operation but I don't have copies of this.

-Thanks for that Charley, I've also been recommended "Bodenplatte, The Luftwaffe's Last Hope" by John Manrho & Ron Putz which I've picked up from Amazon.

-Think there was a Hikoki book on this which may be one of the ones above but they usually have excellent colour plates and profiles....

Hi all. Does anyone know of a good resource for info on Operation Bodenplatte? I'm doing a bit researching for a new painting I'm due to start soon. I need info on what Luftwaffe units took part, bases attacked, etc.
