Had quite a surprise when I scrolled down to the photo of the Officers Mess. Why? Because i'm now living there! I knew my new student flat had something to do with the old airfield site but didn't know it was the officers mess. I'm about three minutes walk from RAFM Hendon (haven't been yet though). Does anyone have any old photos of RAF Hendon, in particular showing this building or the area nearby? Have to admit, it probably hasn't improved much since 1917!
