The above is a two volume work covering bombs & bombing equipment, guns, gunsights, turrets, ammunition and pyrotechnics as used by the RAF in 1939-45.
I've seen this work referred too in several books and just found that Military History Booksellers now offer a facsimile of this publication in a single volume.
At 600+ pages a hefty tome but then at £ 65.00 a hefty price too :(!
Are any of you familiar with these books (in original or copy form) and would you know how well illustrated they are? It's the photos and drawings that say it all of course!
