-Hopefully my questions will be answered soon !
Meanwhile, last Wednesday:

-Another issue to be addressed is that the current configuration of photos within posts means they are relatively small,- which does not do justice to the many fine photos posted

-As an interim improvement, if you click on REPLY for a post, the text and photos are displayed (for me anyway) in a column about twice as wide as the display space provided while viewing the thread as a whole.
Or you could provide a link to the Flickr album, with the first of today's photos displayed e.g.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/errolgc/albums/72157711065365408/with/487…
I went to the album, clicked on the fifth photo, clicked on the 'Back to Album' link at the top left. You are then on a view of the album with that photo at the top of the display window - useful when you have a big album that you are constantly adding to.

-Hi all,
Sorry for the late response, being dealing with a lot today. All of the comments have been noted and I am speaking with developers about the issues you have all told me about.
On a side note, that's a lovely Spitfire pic!
I am working to try and help fix the problems you're facing, bear with me! :)
Kind regards,
Khalem (Assistant Editor on AFM/ Combat Air/ Air International and forum manager)

-Why is it that when something "works", it has to be changed? I go with the Yank sentiment...."If it ain't broke...don't fix it !"

-Honestly, just when you think the Forum site can't get any worse. Major drop in interest after the last troubles, this is only going to make things worse, seems like the powers that be want to kill it off !

-Any updates on this one? The older diary links (2018 and older) seem to work but my shortcut to 2019 has disappeared and I can't seem to find anything anywhere.
Need my daily fix :(

-The new format is horrible! Why, as someone said, "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"
What really was the need to change what was a very good format for a very active forum?
It looks and is horrible and (for example) we can no longer jump to the latest post from the thread title.

-Well said. The damage done to this thread alone illustrates the appallingly bad decision to move to this utterly horrid new format.
Hate it.

-Totally agree.
Can`t find Duxford or North Weald diaries, pictures or go to last post without wading through whole threads.
You`ve "fixed" something that wasn`t broke.
Bye!!!

-Hi all,
I've noted the missing Duxford Diary thread as something for our developers to look into.
I'll update when I have more information.

-Why not just open a new one although it may not be very busy any more

-Dear DCW. Have been following the Duxford forum for years (got me onto this site). Somehow feel I will miss the excellent photos by yourself and others that might not re-emerge on this new but sad format. Regards from Perth, Western Australia mate
