The next issue for our Car-Door Typhoon 1B. is finding a Graviner (Methyl Bromide) automatic fire extinguisher and mounting bracket. We have been successful in sourcing a period Graviner Gravity switch; a period Graviner Inertia switch, and 2x period Graviner Flame switches.
It has been necessary for us to fabricate mountings for the Gravity and Inertia switches; and this will also be necessary for the fitting of the Extinguisher mounting bracket. The left-hand photo is what we are looking for; and the right-hand photo shows the assembly location (circled) in the airframe.
If anyone has an intact one; please PM me with details. It doesn't have to be in pristine condition... we're quite good with bent or rusty!...
