-All filled in and commented on. Too little too late springs to mind but we’ll see.

-I completed the survey and added what I hope were useful comments, but I'm not actually sure that the survey went through.... Great! ?

-I'm doing the survey, in good faith, but wonder if it's just window dressing. I hope not.

-I've completed the survey with a few more points added to the table provided which pick up some of the issues previously raised.

-It's promising that Key are at least, and at last, asking but I doubt it will have any effect, and I suspect it's too late now anyway.
I've complained about "new, improved" websites in the past - not to Key - and had pre-prepared replies that have totally ignored my points and told me how much better it is. I've just stopped using the sites...

-These are the comments i have added to the bottom
"There have been so many people leaving this forum that they may be unaware that possible improvements are are being done [hopefully] maybe time for you to re engage with them.
Give the Moderators more power and input to be able to actively interact with the users and owners.
Make the people running the forums more accessible to the users, we have been fobbed off so many times and no responses to concerns posted about the forum .
Some of the features such as copy/paste is awful, spell check seems to tell you that something is spelt wrong but no option to edit it correctly."

-They're all valid complaints/comments but to me the biggest single problem is it's an absolute eyesore.
There's acres of wasted white space and it bears no resemblance to every other forum I've ever seen. Did somebody decide everybody else was wrong?
Pprune did a similarly unpopular "upgrade" a couple of years ago but the powers-that-be there listened. Key didn't.

-To paraphrase Field of Dreams, "If they fix it, will they come back?"
I'm afraid the damage has already been done.
to be honest, several of the more knowledgeable contributors left long before the "uograde"...circa 2015 or so...for various reasons.
The non-response to my recent basic Spitfire question shows how much damage has been done. I don't think many quality posters would come back.

I have thankfully really not seen so much "PR spin" and other "PR gobbledygook" lately ? ?
as expressed in the announcement at https://www.key.aero/forum/historic-aviation/there-it-was-gonegone?page… , but apart from ticking the boxes you can also make your views known.
And I have certainly expressed my views. This survey is probably too late now, but it seems Key.Aero/Key Publishing is now finally about to make a serious effort.
...bump...
For those who had not already done so:
tick the boxes at
