Hello guys,
latest news from MeierMotors South Germany - on Friday 4th of June, the team had a fantastic maiden flight.
After 5 years of hard work, they managed the maiden flight of the nearly top-secret-project EKW C-3604. Tons of paperwork, tons of work. The aircraft got a RollsRoyce Merlin 500 engine, instead of the original Saurer-engine (dash-04). The conversion included also a dual control cockpit with up-to-date avionics. Its a one-of-a-kind aircraft and following the test-pilot, easy to handle and wonderful to fly. So all are happy and delighted.
Thanks to the private owner for his confidence, that was really a stunning project for the team.
Thanks to the whole team, they made a fantastic job ! Thanks to the PIC for the maiden flight - perfectly done.
And yes, it was also a perfect day for me
