Looks strange.
Disclaimer: don't have an opinion on "chemtrails". Don't know enough to say they exist or not.
They don't bother me. I have invested heavily in the only possibly viable solution.
Aluminium foil wrapped tightly around my head.

Probably not a weapon of any kind. Aircraft sprays are likely to be interactions between the wing and the air, fuel dumps, fire fighting drops, and I've heard some things about them being used for forming rain and for o-zone layer work IIRC.
If these were chemtrails, which IIRC are for reducing the worlds population, then I'd guess they'd not film it...

What would be in these 'chemicals'?Why?? To what end??
Releasing 'chemicals' at 30,000' say over London, would probably land on Moscow, hardly precision:rolleyes:
So why has nobody been caught refilling a BA B757 at LHR with chemicals??

How anybody can be suckered into this rubbish is beyond me.
I doubt they would want to dump chemicals over London, more likely the North Pole as thats where the ozone damage is worst.
The Chemicals could be something to reduce global warming, so perhaps some thing like fine bit of aluminium to form some kind of reflective cloud. That is of course assuming you believe in global warming or the possibility to prevent global warming or that they are attempting to do so, all are well up for debate.

If aircraft overtly damage the ozone layer, why would they try to repair it covertly??If any airline (or military) are trying to do some good in this world, why are they not jumping up and down shouting "Look at us, we're saving the planet!!"

Arthur, don't blame my intentions please. My point is that it is one possible explanation that is not solid enough to claim as the sole truth. Otherwise we could while away almost anything on the basis of a "rare phenomenon". I saw a plane, or did I? Maybe I'm suffering from hallucinations. Maybe I didn't see a plane, I saw a donkey. No wait, maybe it was a rare phenomena where my mind has tricked me into believing the plane was a donkey. No? Or maybe its a mirage? Or wait, maybe its just a skilfully altered video. :eek:
I actually don't have an opinion on whether or not chemtrails exist or not. I've simply got an open mind and like to look at all sides. If it helps, I've argued with chemtrail believers against believing what I've described to them as conspiracy theories.
but if you want to believe I'm biased, feel free to paint me black. I'd say that I wouldn't blame you, given how common conspiracies are at the abject denigration of searching for evidence from the part of the world I'm from.

There are different "trail", most are normal contrails, though some people argue they are some other things like chemical sprays. Its much like debating whether the US Govt has alien UFOs, we just can't prove conclusively either way, all people can state is that their opinion leans one way or the other.

Nobody is debating aliens or UFOs, its an example of something which cannot be reasonably proven either way. Government UFOs make a good example as if they did exist, it would be extremely hard to find proof, but absence of proof is of course not a proof of absence so proving they don't exist is equally difficult! UFOs (well the ones on youtube anyway) fly, so its reasonably related to the forum as an example, that said using non-aviation examples is probably acceptable too :)
