The Su-30MKI can function as a mini-AWACS as a director or command post for other aircraft. The target co-ordinates can be transferred automatically to at least 4 other aircraft. As real AWACS E-3 to reach 400km range, In my opinion, the Mini-AWACS located in the lower range of 400km and over 200km

MiG-31 radar Zaslon 400km (Similarly the range of E-3)
Su-30MKI radar N011E 350km
Su-27SK radar N001E 240km
F-22 radar APG-77 230km
F-14 radar AWG-9 213km

Those figures are way off, i assume the F-22 and F-14 figures might refer to fighter size target detection (perhaps 1 sqm for F-22's APG-77 and 3 or 5 sqm for F-14's AWG-9?)

Basic Zaslon has a 200km max range, 120km vs fighter size, track 90km. Improved Zaslon-AM might have a max range of 280 or 320km not sure now. The ill-fated MiG-31M should have had a Zaslon-M with 360km range.

The N-011ME Bars may well have a max range of 350km, but for fighter size is 140km (can't recall track range, 80 or 100km i think). Perhaps Bars-R (Su-30SM) is improving on those figures.

The N-001E have a max range of 140km, 100km vs fighter, 80 km track. The improved recent variants are seemingly improving those figures, with as high as 150km vs. fighter size quoted for the latest N-001VP series (in Su-27SM3 and Su-30M2)

Then of course you have the N-135 Irbis (i swear i saw this designation recently rather than N-035- am i bonkers here ?), with a max range against fighter size target in a narrow beam of 350-400km. In normal operating mode (volume search or whatever it's called) should be 200km vs the same.

Actually not sure what are we to discuss here, no disrespect.

Any modern aircraft is going to have the required datalink capability.

Qualities of the Su-30 that enhance its performance in the 'spotter' role are its large & powerful radar, long endurance, and second seat. F-15E derivatives and MiG-31BM share these qualities.

Cheek arrays and/or a steerable AESA like on Gripen E would enhance the performance of aircraft in this role even further. A Su-34 variant could potentially offer the ultimate expression of this concept, but I doubt it's worth pursing.

As I understand, Su-30MKK can be used as a mini-AWACS because:

Su-30MKK of Flanker family is the first to be equipped with TKS-2 C3 system, capable of simultaneously mà Commanding and Controlling up to 15 aircraft with vd system, and the air-to-air missiles launched by these aircraft.
According to the developer of the system, JSC Russkaya Avionika, the C3 encrypted two-way communication system can be either commanded or controlled by ground stations, or act as the command / control center for other aircraft.

But it's pretty low range radar: N001VE range about 100-110km ! For Su-30MKV, Venezuela was declared equipped N001VEP radar improvements 210 km range

Early Bars had 140km fighter detection. Over the years its performance boost has been rather substantial.

Today:

Fighter detection range: 250-300km.
Enages 8 targets at once.
