So many really awesome photographs from so many different eras!
On the previous page the only reason I questioned that Su-34 (firing the Kh-31) "photo" was that the aircraft in question has R-27's on the outboard underwing pylons........Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Flanker/Fullback family cannot carry R-27s on those pylons, but rather on the inboard and center wing stations along with the fuselage and air intake positions (maximum of 6 or 8 depending on the variant in question).
Additionally I'd like to add that I've never seen an F-111 with an AGM-65...makes sense they would have used the weapon, but I've just never seen it before.
Finally, does anyone know if the French are going to put the AASM onto the 2000D (or 2000N) fleet?

That is correct. R-27 is too heavy for that pylon.. Typically, an R-73 is carried there.. Or an R-77.

Wow! A reminder of more "traditional" offensive fast jet ops in the age of DEW and swarming UAVs.

That underside shot of the Mi-24 would be a good one for the "Just a nice pic" thread.
