Airbus is offering to replace Australia's 22 Tigers that didn't do a good job, had a bunch of issues and are being prematurely retired, with 29 more Tigers.

It is going to be between the AH-64E Apache and the AH-1Z Viper as to who wins the contract, I cannot see the Tiger getting chosen.

But the longer it takes to sign a contract to replace the Yas’ur, the possibility of a failure in the platform increases.
