IAF Hercule combs for terrorist at Pathankot airfield

According to IAF officials, C-130 Hercules aircraft of IAF's 77 Squadron codenamed 'Veiled Vipers', which had landed at Pathankot with the National Security Guard (NSG) commandos and their equipment, was pressed into the service to find human[s ... in] the vacant land having large number of bushes with the help of thermal imaging and multi-sensor surveillance system. The [..] aircraft flew several sorties and circled over the airbase to check the possibility of terrorists hiding in dense bushes on the vacant airfield area. It was also used during low visibility at the airbase, as the aircraft had night vision imaging facility.

Interesting.

Why would Pakistan sell to nation with an 85%-majority Shia population closely aligned with Iran when Pakistan is so close to the Saudis? Makes no sense.

If rumours are true they have already signed a deal with Myanmar, where Rohingya Muslims are being killed and persecuted. Its the government that matters not the poor locals e.g Bahrain has majority Shia population.

why do you think Azerbaijan is closely aligned with Iran? Virtually all news talks about how much Iran doesn't like Azerbaijan.
