[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-08-02 AT 03:31 PM (GMT)]As soon as Brazilian Air Force (FAB) officially decleared its interests in leasing some Kfirs to a temporary replacemnt of its Mirage IIIs, others companies sent their proposals. It had been unofficially reported that Saab (Gripen), Dassault (Mirage 2000-5 Mk2), Rosoboronexport (Su-35) and Lockheed Martin (F-16) have already showed proposals for leasing. Brazilian AF will aparrently have a parallel program: the FX leasing.
I think in this situation, Kfir will just have a chance in case FAB decides delay the FX program (the winner is expected to be known this month).
By the way, Su-35 isnt operated by any country, right? So where are they gonna get already built Su-35s in case they win the FX leasing? Are they gonna send us the prototypes?!?! :)
