British Planespotters return home

The group of British people have returned to Britain, freed pending appeal under the Greek Justice System.
I believe 6 were found guilty of being "accessory" to the crime though I am not sure how many were actually convicted of espionage.

If the appeal fails, (probably to be held before June), the defence will have to apply for legal aid from the Greek Government to take the case to the European Court. If Greece refuses, the group will then have to either privately afford legal fees or gain legal aid from the British Government or an outside source.

Once in the Euorpean Court, the decision of the court could overrule the Greek Court in terms of sentence, and indeed, whether or not the conviction was correct.
