I've got Janes' IAF and Janes F-15. Great games.

-RE: Anyone with fligth simulators?
i also got Jane's F15, but my new Geforce II graphics card is not compatible with the drivers of this game. Else, it would like to defeat you in a combat mission.
Maybe you can buy Jane's USAF, this game has several nice airplane's (F22, F15E, F15C, F16, F117, F4, F105, F117 and Mig 29 in red flag excercises)which are very realistic, but you need a hell of a machine if you want to see the best ingame graphics.

LAST EDITED ON 03-Sep-00 AT 04:18 PM (GMT)[p]don't buy it, lousy game : graphics are not so great and it is not realistic at all (more a arcade game than a combat simulation)

-RE: Anyone with fligth simulators?
I've got a Pentium II 450, with Viper 550 16Mb AGP vidoe card. That'll be enough to play the gamen, but unfortunately, I haven't got the time for games. I didn't fifnish F-15, and I won't finish USAF either if I buy it, because I'm in my last year of high school, and I've liuke a thousand things to do 'till January. After that I have tp prepare for my exams, so I can't play games really much, unfortunately.
But I would have liked to play against you too.
Greetings,
Jonathan
BTW, I'm Dutch. You're from Belgium right?

Yeah, i'm from Koksijde (Flanders).
Try to find a demo of USAF anyway : i also haven't got much time, but after a hard day working in school, it's very nice to shoot down some Mig's.
Benjamin
P.S. Good luck with your exams

-RE: Anyone with fligth simulators?
Yes ! I agree ! F22L3 is a litlle more arcade too! I Have a PIII 500 Mhz with 128 RAm and I have Jane´s USAF!
But in my opinion Enemy engaged - Comanche versus Hokum is better !!! And wait until the new Eurofigther arrives ! That is gone be the best Combat fligth sim ever!
I Have FS2000 too

-RE: Anyone with fligth simulators?
well, so far i think F-16 Falcon4.0 is the one that needs the most resources...wouldn't work that well with PII450, so i tried it on a PIII800E 254Mb, 32mbg...awesome, but very complicated game.really need that HOTAS!

-RE: Anyone with fligth simulators?
Yes of course,
I discuss F-16 on Aviation Forums ;
I surf F-16 websites on the net ;
I model 1/48 Hasegawa F-16 on my working desk ;
I take photos of F-16 on Air Shows ;
and
I fly ( mainly ) F-16 on Janes USAF Flight Sim.
I prefer Janes Usaf over Microprose Falcon 4.0
With Janes Usaf you can fly over Usa, Germany, Iraq and Vietnam,
some missions including Vietnam War, Gulf War and futur
war scenarios.
Janes Usaf permits you also to fly most aircrafts actually within
real Usaf inventory.
With the more precise but very complex Falcon 4.0 you fly only
F-16 over Korea.
The choice is yours.
