I look forward to the footage of the first GBU-12 one of them puts on (hopefully) a large number of IS fighters...

Also, I hope they hear the aircraft right before the bomb detonates...

A beautiful airplane in my opinion.

Yeah, first two Alcas were delivered by pilots of 212. Tactical squadron... twoseater planes will be delivered as the last, because some Iraqi pilots are still trained in the Czechlands...

Jesus, Trident Juncture 2015 is damn stuff for Czech air force. Hot news inform that Czech Mi-171ŠM has crashed 15 km of Zaragoza away today. Five Czech soldiers were injured, one pilot and four operators of very elite 601. Group of Special Forces

Hope there are no fatalities.

The Britons want to block delivery of rest L-159 due to RWR module (they again and again and again), same module that is integrated in F-16 fot Iraq... Iraq wants L-159 only with RWR...

According to the DSCA notification of the sale to Iraq, the F-16IQs have the AN/ALR-93 RWR, a Northrop Grumman product. Online reports say that the L-159 has a Sky Guardian RWR, originally a BAE product but now Selex.

But two a/c are already there, isn't it too late to object? Besides Sky Guardian isn't precisely state-of-the-art nowadays.

perhaps the motivation is sour grapes over the iraqis not buying Hawks... or an attempt to sell "newer" RWR module to Iraq to replace the removed one (and thus bagging a small sale). Seems rather petty to be honest.
