Thanks, though ive seen Avmia's profile before, but it seems to be based of the Egyptian example (check flag) in the first pic, which leaves me questioning its accuracy.

well i took a bit of a stab in the dark...all teh odl mirages used latin numbers, so Decided to use latin numbers in association with the odl roundals.. the flags were pulled together form bits' n pieces, the whole things gloss coated for decaling

-MiGMan, the photo I posted is Libyan from the times of the United Arab Republic (Egypt+Libya+Syria), that's why the finflash has the Egyptian eagle.
Egypt's MS had the roundel on the sides of the intakes, not the nose like this one. Here's a clear (altough b/w and small) picture of an Egyptian MiG-23MS:

Ive been thinking of a Early libyan machine (as i have decals i can use) ive seen this photo posted on the ACIG site, does anyone have any more pics of early libyan mig-23, as im not 100% sure this is a libyan machine and soem conformation woudl be good.
furthermore: does anyone know what serial range these machines were given and wether they were in arabic or latin numbers would be greatly appreciated!!
woudl be interested in any pics ppl have to offer to inspire my decision :)
