-Online, you can have a look at EBay.
You should also go have a look at your local hobby stores. Some may have second hand items, which are usually sold cheap.
You can also try large online stores like Hannants.

-A quick look at http://www.hannants.co.uk/ shows ONE EE Lightning - and it's sold out!
EvilBay would probably be your best bet....

-The old Airfix one is still available....think I picked some up at Keevil this year for about £2.50 each and if you cant get hold of one, then drop me a line and I'll see what's spare!!

What with the good news that Airfix has been bought by Hornby, suppose all those surplus TSR2s wont be worth anything now. What a shame!!

-Lightning Kits
Thanks for all the responses, I did look on Ebay but eventually found the one I was looking for at http://www.lpgestore.com/, Wasn't as cheap as i'd liked but the lightnings are worth it.
Thanks again.

-What one did you buy?
The Airfix model is still around and fairly cheap (I've not seen it over £4.00 yet). It denotes an F.3 but was originally released in the early 1960s as an F.1. An original F.1 version of the model would probably command a bit of a premium these days.
Hasegawa and the old Frog company released 1/72 F.6 versions as well (they might have been from the same moulds). Recently, Eastern Express have introduced an F.6 which I assume is the Frog/Hasegawa one back again.
Matchbox did an F.6 too in 1/72 as well.
In larger scales, Airfix have done a beautiful 1/48 scale Lightning F.6 and Aeroclub made a vacform 1/48 scale model.
