To celebrate the 60th anniversary of 814 NAS receiving its first helicopter, watchmaker RSC is issuing a Flying Tigers Special Edition 2020 chronograph in association with members of the squadron, which now flies the Merlin HMA2 from RNAS Culdrose.
The watch has a number of features on the face that relate to the squadron and Merlin. It will appeal to former squadron members and their families, naval aviation enthusiasts and watch collectors. Watches will be manufactured to order and personalised with a callsign or nickname, but orders will only be taken up to midnight on August 4, 2020.
