Many of the world’s leading carriers are raising the seating capacity of their aircraft in a bid to maximise revenue, but what impact does this have on passenger comfort? Many legacy carriers have adopted a decidedly two-tier strategy, adding more seats into the rear of the cabin while installing increasingly comfortable and spacious offerings ‘up front’ for those who are willing to pay extra.
