Graham Pitchfork recalls his days on 208 Squadron and how the unit became the spearhead of NATO’s northern flank

By the time 208 Squadron re-formed with the Buccaneer at Honington in July 1974 the type was already well established in RAF service. Also at the Suffolk airfield was 12 Squadron, masters of maritime strike attack.
