How to design scenery – Part 3: Going beyond the inbuilt assets

In the previous episodes of this short series on scenery design, I explained how to set up the various software tools needed to add scenery to Microsoft Flight Simulator (MFS), with a view to perhaps making your local airport more realistic. This was using the inbuilt assets already provided by Asobo, combined with a few that have already appeared from the freeware community. However, if you want to go that extra mile, with bespoke buildings and other objects that look more authentic, you’ll need to look outside these inbuilt assets.
